Three generations · Colorado Springs · Est. 1965

Make your home look new again.

Three generations of stucco, paint, decks, and roofs across Colorado Springs. The kind of finish that makes the neighbors ask who did the work.

From the stucco to the roof.

We don't claim to do everything. We do exteriors, and we've spent three generations learning to do them right, especially the boring parts: prep, primer, color matching, and texture. The finished work shows it.

Freshly painted stucco home in Colorado Springs by Confident Coatings

Stucco Painting

Elastomeric and acrylic systems built for Colorado UV. Power-wash, prep, prime, then two coats of color that won't chalk out in three winters.

Stucco repair work matching original texture and color

Stucco Repair

Settling cracks, water damage, impact patches, and failed flashing. We diagnose the cause first, match texture and color, and feather the patch in so the wall looks untouched.

Deck Restoration

Bringing weathered, splintered decks back to life. Low-pressure wash, professional brighteners, sanding where it counts, then a two-step seal and stain.

Roof Coating

Reflective elastomeric coatings for flat and low-slope roofs. We extend the roof's life, drop the AC bill in summer, and seal up the small leaks before they get serious.

Some trades you have to grow up in.

Confident Coatings has been a family business for three generations. The trade was passed from father to son, and from son to son again, the way real craft work tends to be.

Our owner, Bart Rafferty, started on jobsites as a kid, mixing buckets and scraping prep work. He's now the third generation running the company, and he still walks every estimate himself.

Our secret isn't in the paint. It's in the prep. Cracks chased to their cause. Stucco patched in a way that disappears. Decks sanded smooth where it matters. We do the unglamorous parts well, and the visible parts take care of themselves.

No deposit, no surprises, no chasing us down for a callback.

A short list of how we run a job, because the difference between a paint job that lasts and one that doesn't is almost never the paint.

i.

A written proposal that means something

The owner walks the property with you, talks through prep, and writes everything down: the surfaces, the prep level, the paint brand, sheen, and number of coats. The number you sign is the number you pay.

ii.

No deposit. You pay when it's right.

We don't take money up front. You hand over a check at the final walk-through, after we've cleaned up and you've inspected every wall and corner. Three generations of word-of-mouth was built on this.

iii.

Built for Colorado weather

We spec elastomerics, acrylics, and stains rated for high-altitude UV and the freeze-thaw cycle that destroys cheap finishes. Every exterior paint job is backed by a 5-year written warranty.

What homeowners on the Front Range say.

Three generations of work means a lot of repaints and a lot of referrals. Here are a few; the rest live on Google, Facebook, and Angie's.

Linda M. Colorado Springs · via Google
★★★★★

"Bart matched our existing stucco texture perfectly after the storm damage repair. You honestly cannot tell where the patch is. We've used them twice now."

Dave & Susan H. Monument · via Angie's List
★★★★★

"Our deck looked like firewood before they showed up. Three days later it looked like a new deck. They cleaned up better than we leave the house, frankly."
