Stucco Repair

Texture-matched repairs that disappear into the wall

A stucco wall installed properly can last more than a hundred years, but Colorado settles, freezes, thaws, and gets hit with hail and flying debris. Our job is to find what caused the damage, fix the cause, and patch the wall so the repair disappears.

Common causes we see in Colorado Springs

  • Foundation settling on clay or sandy soil, leading to stair-step cracks
  • Failed flashing around windows and roof junctions, letting water behind the lath
  • Impact damage from hail, branches, and ladders
  • Bad first installs, especially missing weep screed or improper lath fastening
  • Freeze-thaw expansion of pre-existing hairline cracks

Our process

We diagnose first. Patching a wall that's actively shifting from a foundation problem is a temporary fix and a waste of money. Once we know the cause, we cut back to sound material, replace lath if needed, install new scratch and brown coats, and finish-coat in a texture that matches the original.

Why texture matching matters

There are dozens of stucco textures, from old-school dash and lace to modern smooth and skip-trowel finishes. We match yours, often by mixing on site and dialing in the texture in test patches. When we're done and you re-paint, the patch is invisible.
