The family
Three generations of Colorado painters.
Confident Coatings & Exteriors Inc. is a family-owned painting and exterior coatings contractor based in Colorado Springs. The business has been handed down from father to son across three generations.
The current owner is Bart. He grew up on Colorado job sites, started as a kid mixing buckets and scraping prep work, and now runs the day-to-day. Bart is reachable directly throughout your project, mixes color on site to match older walls, and signs your written proposal himself.
We're licensed in Colorado, fully insured (workers' comp + general liability), and EPA lead-certified. We use top-brand paints. Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, Kelly-Moore, and others, selected for the job and for Colorado weather. Exterior paint comes with a 12-year written warranty, and we never ask for a deposit. You pay the full amount when the work is finished and you've signed off on it.

3 Generations of Colorado Springs Home Painters
First generation
A young painter starts a one-truck shop in Colorado Springs.
Mixed his own colors. Knocked on neighbors' doors. Built the entire business on referrals. No website or marketing budget. Just the work, and people kept calling him back.
Second generation
The trade is passed to his son. Stucco repair is added.
As Colorado Springs grew, so did stucco-clad homes. Settling cracks, weather damage, and bad first installs created an opening. The shop expanded into stucco repair, color matching, and full re-coats.
Third generation
Bart takes the reins. Decks and roofs added.
The current generation grew up on jobsites and now leads the day-to-day. Decks, deck restoration, and roof coatings round out the services to cover the whole exterior of a Colorado home, top to bottom.

Still family-run. Still doing the work ourselves. Still standing on every job. We hope to keep doing it for at least another generation.
